Safety Recommendations

Logistics Handling & Lifting

Lift the electrode from both ends simultaneously. Never use iron hooks directly on the threads or nipples to prevent irreversible structural damage.

Storage & Weather Protection

Store on wooden pallets in roofed areas. If an electrode gets wet, it must be thermally dried before use to prevent cracking and premature oxidation in the furnace.

Pre-Connection Cleaning

Clean the surface and internal thread exclusively with oil-free and water-free compressed air. The use of wire brushes or steel wool is strictly prohibited.
